ABOUT ME
Growing up, one of my favorite things to draw was my stuffed animals, especially my beloved koala bears. I never showed my art to anyone, and I never ever thought I would grow up to be an artist.

But I did just that. These days I am lucky enough to make my living painting art for picture books. . . and occasional greeting cards. Oh yeah, and I once had to draw pants that expanded at the waist so you can eat as much as you want. I also have been included in the NJ watercolor society annual show and have won numerous awards...but not for the stretch pants.

I love telling stories. . . all kinds whether it be in words or pictures. My head is filled with adventures that I'm ready to tell the world. I'm currently working on a novel and about a jillion picture books. I hope someday soon to share these ideas with you all.

My husband says that if I'm not at my easel, you can find me in my garden or the woods behind our house, hugging a tree , doing battle with a weed or trying to coax a flower to bloom. I love gardening and feel most alive out in nature. My grandfather had a farm, and I hope to have one too someday. Oh, and a lamb, but don't tell my husband.

When I do, I'll let you know and you can come visit. Until then, I'm living in historic Bucks County PA with my Husband Rob and our Orange cat , Taffy, who always lets me know when its time to stop work and play. ....which is what I think I'll do now.
Enjoy, Lisa
